Celebrate the first day of spring with lunch and miso making; a simple miso making class followed by a warming nutritious ferment inspired lunch in the Fermentary.

Jon Fermentary Co-Founder, Rachel, for a nourishing day of miso making and a ferment inspired lunch. We'll be using koji rice from our friends at the Koji Kitchen to make our own jar of miso to take home (and wait very patiently before opening!). After our class Rachel will be preparing a nutritious lunch, using miso as a key ingredient to flavour the dishes with.

  • dulse kimchi and miso soup

  • barley miso marinated mushroom with rice

  • white miso cookies and chai tea

  • water kefir to drink
